Getting here
St John the Baptist Parish Church dates back to the 11th century. It has a congregation of around 25 people. Its links with the neighbouring local Community Primary School are very strong, and clergy are warmly welcomed into the school for assemblies. The school fill the church three times a year for Easter, Harvest and Christingle services. It has fine views over Bideford Bay from its large churchyard. Open 10-5 daily with visitor information provided.
The parish is a member of the Mission Community, Taw and Torridge Estuary Churches TTEC with St Peter's Fremington and St Peter's Westleigh. Our new minister is Rev Chris Painter from April 26th 2023.
