Dear friends,
This week we draw to the end of the long Trinity season with readings for Bible Sunday. In the gospel, Jesus draws from the words of Isaiah to show that he fulfills God's purpose to bring good news and relief of suffering to the most vulnerable and oppressed people of our world. May his words guide our prayers at this time of so much change and challenge in our world.
