Starts from St Mary's Church, Lynton

The Sisters of Mary Morning Star would like to invite you to join them for the Walk of Witness on Friday 29th March in Lynton. This is a traditional Christian walk, on Good Friday, following the way of the Cross of Our Lord Jesus Christ.

This year, they will start at St Mary’s Church at 9am, and from there they will walk up to Hollerday Hill together. It is a very slow walk, stopping often, to pray, sing, contemplate Jesus and following him step by step as he carries his Cross.

Everyone is most welcome to join us for part, or the whole of the walk, which will finish in the convent garden.

We will be praying for the needs of the world, for you, and your intentions.

St Bartholomew

Dear Virtual Church Visitor,

We would especially like to invite everyone to our main service, an Evensong on the first Sunday of each month. You would be very welcome and especially those who are new to the area or not regular church-goers.

Despite the relaxation of government restrictions, Covid cases are currently very high in North Devon. We would ask those attending services to continue to take sensible precautions.

The Diocesan procedures and contacts for safeguarding have recently changed. You can find the details here.

You can find the latest Mission Community Newsletter in the News and Notices menu under Notice Sheets.
