Church of England Diocese of Exeter Ashreigney

St James

Join us at St James, Ashreigney.

Sadly due to coronavirus all church buildings are temporarily closed. Prayer, worship and practical support is continuing online and over the phone. We are holding a Sunday Service of Morning Prayer at 9:30am each week and a short service of prayer and worship on a Tuesday at 6:00pm. There is also a regular social event on a Friday at 7:30pm. These are all online via Zoom. Please contact [email protected] for details. Resources for Morning Prayer at Home including an order of service, readings and a weekly sermon can be found in the 'News and notices' section.

The Parish of St James Ashreigney is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). The Diocese of Exeter’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services. You can find further information, including contact details and links to support agencies, on the Safeguarding tab, left.
