Ugborough Church
St Peter's Church in Ugborough is known locally as the "Cathedral of the South Hams." It is a huge building at the top of The Square in the Village. Inside the church has many interesting features and there are displays about the history of the building and the place of worship of the years. Due to the current Covid pandemic and the changing guidelines for public worship please check the details for services and pre-book for either online or 'in' church services with the Churchwardens or the Rector via email [email protected] or telephone: 01548 821199.
"The parish of Ugborough: St Peter is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Exeter’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services."
