Your Parish Church is here for everyone living in the parish. The Church is an important part of rural life, holding our sense of belonging, identity, history and memory. We continue to work together to build and maintain flourishing communities, so here is a growing list of regular groups and organisations meeting in the wider community.
MONDAYS: Handbell ringing

- The handbell group plays for special events and Christmas visits to local care homes.
TUESDAYS: Lamerton Playgroup Stay & Play
- Tuesday 9:30 – 11:30am during term time in Lamerton Hall
- £2 per family.
- Snacks for the children and tea or coffee for the grown-ups.

TUESDAYS: Milton Abbot Friendship Group
- Tuesdays 10-12.30 in the Village Hall
- Board games, social, prize draw, and lunch available.

TUESDAYS: Brew & Browse
- 10-11.30am on the last Tuesday of each month
- Browse the large range of books and puzzles in the Marystowe Sunday Schoolroom PL16 0JA
- Second hand books for sale or simply browse with a cuppa and some company.
WEDNESDAYS: Craft Group
- 7.30pm in the Priest Chapel, Church Avenue, PL19 8RN
- This very popular group is facilitated by Margaret Green
FRIDAYS: Coffee and Company
- Alternative Friday mornings 10am
- Held in the Priest Chapel, Church Avenue, Lamerton PL19 0NZ
- A regular gathering for biscuits and a natter.
- A warm welcome guaranteed.
SATURDAYS: Lamerton Hall Coffee Morning
- Alternate Saturday mornings from 10.30-12.
- Held in Lamerton Hall (next to the Blacksmith's Arms)
- Social, breakfast baps and good coffee, raffle, home made produce for sale, and more.
- No booking required - just turn up (especially recommended if you're hungry for a nice Saturday breakfast bap!)
SATURDAYS: St Mary's Coffee Morning, Sydenham Damerel
- 10.30am on the first Saturday of every month
- Good coffee and a catchup - meet others from the wider community.
- Home made produce for sale, and more.
