*Choral Evensong takes place at 17:30; on Sundays it starts at 16:30 and can be live-streamed from our website. On occasion, the service may be replaced with Eucharist or spoken Evening Prayer, so please check our service listings on our website in advance.

This service is sung by the Cathedral Choir. It contains prayers, readings and canticles (songs) from the Book of Common Prayer. It is a quiet and peaceful service to end the day.

All are welcome to join us at Salisbury for worship at any or all our services. There is no charge to attend or for those wishing to pray in private.

A Family Service for Christmas Eve

The First Eucharist of Christmas, or Midnight Mass, is a highlight of the Christian year. Everyone is welcome as we celebrate the start of Christmas by sharing communion together, hearing the Christmas Gospel followed by a Christmas message, with Christmas carols and music sung by the Cathedral Choir.

The Epiphany Devotion

Join us for the last of the popular processional services celebrating Advent, Christmas, and Epiphany. It will tell the story of the journey of the Magi, travelling to worship the infant Jesus. A moving service made up of readings, devotional addresses, and the Cathedral Choir, joined by period instruments. They will be performing parts V and VI of Bach’s Christmas Oratorio.
