St Peter's Langton Herring

You are always welcome here, whether you are just passing through, or locally based. St Peter’s is a small Grade II listed building located in the centre of the picturesque village of Langton Herring, next to the Elm Tree Inn and the Village Hall. There is a sense of the sacred in this quiet, tranquil place for those seeking solitude, to pray, or the opportunity to simply sit quietly for a while. It is only 20 minutes on foot to the Fleet Lagoon behind Chesil Bank - a 17-mile stretch of shingle and a National Nature Reserve, itself a special unique place.

Services are held regularly and alternate each week, from more traditional 'prayer book' communion services and hymns to more informal reflective times, or family praise with worship songs and readings. Feel free to wander around our churchyards too.
