Church of England Diocese of Salisbury Lydlinch

St Thomas a Becket

Welcome to the lovely and historic parish church of St Thomas a Becket, Lydlinch. We are delighted to share the news that, after more than 4 months and a lot of work to make the building COVID Secure, St Thomas' will be open for worship once again from Sunday 19 July.

All the usual precautions - hand sanitiser, social distancing, Test and Trace and more - will be in place to keep you safe. You might like to bring a face covering with you and, if it looks like rain, we would recommend an umbrella in case you have to queue!

Plus you will still find our online worship on the St Mary's website - we do understand that, for some, it's too early to come back into our buildings.

Welcome back!!!

The parish of Lydlinch is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer, PSO. The Diocese of Salisbury’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
