Welcome to St Peter's Church. We are a church with 12th Century roots, but very much a part of present-day Shaftesbury. St Peter's is in the centre of the town, at the top of picturesque Gold Hill, next to the Town Hall.

Shaftesbury Fringe - 17-19 July - is possibly the biggest Fringe event in England. Many fringe performers in multiple genres perform in St Peter's Church and hall because of their town centre location and good acoustics.
