Safeguarding

The Parish of Tarrant Monkton with Tarrant Launceston is part of the Chase Benefice, Dorset. The Chase Benefice is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults and has a Safeguarding Officer for the whole benefice, Gill Baverstock. Gill's contact details are displayed on the noticeboard in the church porch, together with a flowchart indicating what to do if you have any concerns about the wellbeing of a child, young person or adult or download the policy below and the flowchart on the left.

The Diocese of Salisbury’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advises our Safeguarding Officer. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
