Our Maundy Thursday Eucharist begins at 8pm and includes the washing of the feet of 6 parishioners, and finishes around 9.10pm, when The Watch in the Lady Chapel begins in silence for one hour. You may leave at 9.10pm after the service finishes, or stay for as much or as little of The Watch as you wish.

A short 45 minutes service in which the congregation is led to stand before each of the stations of the cross in church, where a short reading and prayer is said.

Begins by meeting in our annexe on Dunyeats Rd at 10am, ready to set off around 10.15am. We will walk along Tudor Rd to Ridgeway and along the High Street to come to a stop outside the Methodist Church where there will be a dramatic reading of the Passion with hymns.

Come and spend the last hour Jesus was on the cross, in a moving one hour service of brief meditations, hymns, and an opportunity to venerate the cross of Jesus.

This beautiful service combines the Easter Eve Vigil with the Service of Light. We begin outside with a bonfire to light the Paschal Candle, before entering the dark church with our own candles lit from the Light of Christ. We hear the Easter Vigil readings then celebrate the resurrection in the first Eucharist of Easter.
