Join us on February 3 in our search for new volunteers and to celebrate those who are already part of the team.Our new Family and Community Outreach Worker Emma Lancaster and our Pioneer Priest Jo Neary are looking to recruit new volunteers and support existing volunteers as they build a team for new outreach events across the Beaminster Team churches.Pop along on Tuesday 3 February, 19:00 – 20:30. All welcome.Projects we are looking at include community gardening, intergenerational work with older and younger people alongside each other, an outdoor toddler group, nature walks, art projects, a summer reading project, free family fun days, projects for Dad’s and children; and some faith based activities including fire pit reflection gatherings, Lego church, and discussion groups.There are loads of ideas and we would love to invite people to come and share their skills. All skills are welcome, we can shape projects around the giftings of our volunteers.If you are passionate about building community, about bringing different ages together, about doing things alongside others, about meeting new people, then please come and meet us on February 3rd and find out what the possibilities are.There are no barriers around faith or faith sharing, we are looking for volunteers who are interested in building community and serving others, to build wellbeing and to encourage one another.If you are currently a volunteer in the Beaminster Team come along so we can thank you and encourage you.
