The Revd Stuart Cocksedge
Team Vicar
Having grown up in the home counties, Stuart went to university in Exeter and then spent time working with Christian youth and schools work organization SWYM (South West Youth Ministries) in Devon. He was then a civil servant for 8 years before leaving to train for ordination at St John’s College, Nottingham. He served a curacy in Hinckley, Leicestershire, before moving south to join the Wareham team as Team Vicar based in Sandford in 2017. Stuart is married to Rachel and they have four children aged between 9 years and 3 months. He enjoys walking and cycling, and family trips out to the beach or the Purbeck hills, which normally include an obligatory visit to a café to enjoy tea and cake or ice cream together!
Canon Simon Everett
Team Rector
Simon started his working life as a Merchant Seaman before he felt the call to ordination. That was over thirty years ago and since then he has served in churches in Wiltshire and Dorset, predominantly in rural multi-parish benefices. He joined the Wareham Team Ministry in 2014. Simon is married to Linda and they have two grown up children who both live and work in London. His interests include hill walking, reading historical novels and biographies, and studying biblical theology, as well as enjoying good company over a tasty meal.
The Revd Helen Clare WILLIAMS
