The Coffee shop is run by Volunteers in Alderholt reading rooms. The coffee shop is open Monday-Wednesday 9.30-1.30. Drop in for Cake, coffee and chat.

On Wednesday 13th December come and join us at Forest Edge Cafe 11.00am for Carols and cake. There will be a free mince pie with every cup of coffee or tea purchased.

Holy Communion takes place every Sunday morning at 8.00am using the book of common prayer.

We have Messy Church the third Sunday of each month in Alderholt Village Hall. This starts at 10.00am with a full English breakfast followed by a messy game, songs and lots of fun activities. This is an event for all ages but especially those with children.

On Sunday 17th December 6.00pm there will be Carols by Candlelight in the Church with music from the Millstream Orchestra.

We will be meeting at Alderholt Club to have an evening of Carols on Wednesday 20th December at 6.30pm.

On Friday 22nd December at 7.30pm we will be meeting inside The Churchill arms , Alderholt for some Carols.

At St James' Church we have Parish Communion every second, fourth and fifth Sunday in the month. The service starts at 10.30am. All ages are welcome at this service but we do have two children's groups for ages 4-9 and 10-14 that start in the Church and then leave to the Church Hall for fun games and activities.

Sunday Club for ages 4-9 and Sofa Sessions for ages 10-14 meet most weeks (term time). The children start off in the Church and then during the service leave to go over to the Church Hall for games, craft and fun. the older group have hot chocolate and doughnuts and have a more bible based discussion.

Christmas Eve at 4.00pm come and join our family friendly Crib service where we get the stable ready for Jesus to arrive.

Christmas Eve at 11.00pm will be our Midnight Mass service which is always well attended.

On Christmas Day we will be having a 10.30am Service of communion.
