Many thanks to Diana Cotter for devising another beautifully illustrated Treasure Hunt through Bentley Wood in aid of the Save Our Church appeal.

The hunt begins at the church this year where treasure hunt maps can be collected.  We are asking for a minimum donation of £3 per map.  Card payments can be made at the new contactless payment machine inside the church.  The hunt will run until Sunday 12 April. 

Clues are well hidden under a stone or piece of bark/wood, in small tins - here is the first one:  

Since Saxon times, if not before

A place of worship has stood here.

Within these walls, behind the door

You'll find a map, in a box on the floor.

Please take one, £3 you must pay,
