Holy Trinity is supporting Wiltshire Historic Churches Trust's Ride & Stride event. The church will be open all day offering cold drinks and bowls of water for thirsty dogs.

Ride & Stride is an annual national sponsored event. Since 1984 it has raised over £1.7 million for the county’s churches. 50% of the money raised goes to the participant’s chosen church and the other half to the County Historic Churches Trust.

Participants may be cyclists, walkers, horse-riders or drivers of mobility scooters. All denominations are welcome. Visit as many churches as you like, planning your own route. Seek sponsorship from friends, relations and colleagues, so much per church visited or a lump sum.

Wiltshire Historic Churches Trust is an independent, non-profit organisation dedicated to promoting and supporting church buildings of historic, architectural and community value across the county.

East Grimstead: Holy Trinity

Holy Trinity was built in 1857 on the site of a Saxon church and is a joint parish with St Mary's, West Dean. It is also part of the Clarendon Team of churches which extends westwards to Alderbury, northwards to Winterslow and southwards to Whiteparish. We are in the Diocese of Salisbury.

Our church nestles on the southern edge of East Grimstead on the corner of Dean Road. We would love to welcome you whether you are living, working or just visiting the village.

Holy Trinity is currently facing an uncertain future and possible closure unless significant funds are raised in 2025 for repairs and running costs. Please see 'News' and 'What's On' for further information about our fundraising campaign and events.
