St James Church, Ludgershall
Welcome to St James's page!
We have now restarted our outdoor services again (every Sunday outdoors at 10am, unless there is an announcement, which will be posted by 9am, on our Facebook page to inform you if the service cannot go ahead for any reason).
We are now allowed to sing Christmas Carols and hymns (in a covid-secure way), which is great news!
If you want to check the Government guidance for our Tier please consult the Government website https://www.gov.uk/guidance/local-restriction-tiers-what-you-need-to-know
Or you might like to join us for our virtual worship services which have been broadcast every Sunday since the first Sunday of the first lockdown through our local radio station Castledown FM (104.7FM) and on our Facebook page through Facebook Live at 10am on Sunday mornings. Please have a look at our Facebook page for special services in the run up to Christmas.
We want to be a welcoming, vibrant and creative church, but we also want to be a safe church. The parish of St JamesLudgershall is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Salisbury’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
