BCP Holy Communion

Holy Communion according to the 1662 Book of Common Prayer.
There are no music, hymns or sermon. Join us for a peaceful service featuring Cranmer's beautiful liturgy, which has been said here, unchanged, for hundreds of years and comes to life in the historic setting of St Michael's.

Parish Communion

Modern language Communion service according to the Liturgy of Common Worship. This is a sung service, with beautiful traditional hymns, and there is usually a sermon.
Families are very welcome and there is a dedicated children's area within the church to enable parents to stay in the service. We have excellent baby changing and disabled toilets in the Tower, at the back of church. We hope you join us!

Little Angels Toddler Group- preschool age children

Join us for our FREE weekly toddler group, where parents and caregivers can get together as the children have fun with lots of different toys, in the relaxed and safe environment of the Grove Building, our well-appointed church hall. Tea and Coffee are provided, also free of charge!
All our helpers have up to date safeguarding training and DBS checks.

'Sunday First' informal Family Service (usually non-Communion)

Every First Sunday at for 45 mins

This is a fairly informal non-communion service, based on Common Worship. Families with children are warmly welcomed and there is usually a children's activity that takes place in the children's area within the main service. Children (who would like to) assist us in leading the service's readings, prayers and showing us what they've created at the end!
