Church of England Diocese of Salisbury Sherrington

Sherrington: St Cosmo & St Damian

The Parish of Sherrington is a wonderful village with a population of about 60. In the parish church of St Cosmas and St Damian, we hold six services a year covering the main church festivals which are always well attended. We also say Morning Prayer every Thursday in our beautiful church, a perfect way to start the day. We joyfully live out our calling to grow in the love of God through hope, prayer and service. We have a small, yet dedicated team who care for St Cosmo & St Damian church, and are here to help should you wish to visit us for a service, use the church for a life event, trace your family history or if you are seeking a place for quiet contemplation.

The parish of Sherrington: St Cosmo & St Damian is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Salisbury’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.

All are very welcome, and we hope you are able to join us for one of our service or events soon.
