About Us

The church of St James serves the largely residential village of South Wraxall and surrounding countryside. There is a warm feeling of community, in which the church plays its part. Many social activities are based in the village hall next to the church.

Sunday services include monthly Morning Prayer, monthly Matins and twice monthly Holy Communion. A children's area is available at all services. On fifth Sundays, a Benefice Communion service is held in one of the churches in the benefice.

The parish is part of the Benefice of North Bradford-on-Avon and Villages, along with the parishes of Christ Church (Bradford-on-Avon), St. Nicholas (Winsley) and St. Peter (Monkton Farleigh).
