Church of England Diocese of Oxford Dry Sandford

Capital Campaign to re-open St. Helen's

Help us re-open St Helens!  St Helen's is a much-loved church in Dry Sandford, Oxfordshire, and the focal point for a wider community. For more than 160 years, generations of school children at two local schools have attended services beneath its soaring stone arch. Its walls have witnessed hundreds of weddings, baptisms and funerals, as well as countless Sunday devotions. Community events - such as Remembrance Day, Harvest Festival, Plant Sales, Annual BBQ - have helped foster feelings of charity, fellowship and cohesion.

Tragically, the church is now closed because of a fall of masonry. The damage is structural and the sad fact is that if we do nothing, we will lose the building.

We are raising £325,000 to repair structural damage to walls. Please help this campaign to repair this fine building and, in doing so, support our vision to open up this space for more community events, providing a special place for generations to come.
