St Paul's Beckenham

Welcome to St Paul's! We are a growing, loving, and vibrant church family, dedicated to proclaiming and living out the Good News of Jesus Christ faithfully in our community. We welcome everyone, no matter who they are. We believe God's Word is 'living and active', and that when we are led by the Holy Spirit, Jesus Christ can transform lives. We seek to nurture and encourage each other on our individual journeys of faith, whatever our age and spiritual stage.

Worship: Our weekly Sunday worship includes 8am BCP Holy Communion and 10.30am alternating Morning Worship and Holy Communion services. We have occasional seasonal and alternative services on Sunday afternoons. During the week, we meet for Morning Prayer on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays at 9.00am for half an hour, and for Online Prayer on Thursdays at 7.30pm via Zoom; we pray for our parish, the wider community and the world. We have a number of Home Groups who meet to study the Bible and support each other pastorally.

Serving: We are committed to engaging with and serving our local community in practical and meaningful ways. From our food bank and Friendship Group to our work with children and young people, and our care for the environment — we hold a Rocha Eco Church Bronze award — we seek to live out the values of God's Kingdom, which demonstrate 'how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ' (Ephesians 3:18).

Safeguarding

St Paul's is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). The Diocese of Rochester’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information, including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
