Vicar - Reverend Doctor Julie Bowen

Julie is both vicar of St Andrew's and Chaplain to St Olave's Grammar school. Her background is in education. Julie serves on the Rochester Diocese Board of Education and chairs the School Effectiveness Committee. She is a School Governor, a Trust Board Member and represents the Diocese on the Local Authority Young People's Oversee and Scrutiny Committee. She is a member of her local SACRE (Standing Advisory Council on Religious Education). Julie is a trained Spiritual Director and Counsellor and serves as a Vocations Advisor. She is a published song writer and writes a Thought for the Day on the church website every day.
