About Us

St Luke's a Church of England parish church situated on Bromley Common our sister church St Augustine being situated between Bromley and Petts wood and our aim is to share the love of Jesus with our local community.

We are one parish but with two church buildings. Our principal service is at 10 am on a Sunday morning at St Augustine's but we always also have a 8 am Holy Communion service at St Luke's and a 6 pm evening service which has a range of services. We hope that all who come will find a smiling face, a helping hand or someone just to talk to.

The church plays an important role in life of the local community. St Luke's hall is used widely by community groups and has an outstanding pre school too as well as being available for children's parties.

At St Augustines' we run a memory care for dementia sufferers and their carers, the Forget-me-Not cafe, and our church halls are used by a video club, a Parent & Toddler group, a Keep Fit Class for the older person, children's parties, Weight Watchers, and much, much more. Why not try our super Coffee shop, the Three C's (Coffee, Cake and a Chat), or join in the many social events that are held across the year.

Our prayer is that St. Augustine's with St Luke's will be a place where people come to know the full extent of God's love, and to believe in all that Jesus has done for each one of us.

A warm welcome awaits you.

(Hope Church, Bromley, also use St Luke's church for their services on Sunday mornings.)
