Inclusive Church was founded in 2003. Although originally Anglican in origin, we now work with churches of different denominations encouraging them to explore ways in which they may become more inclusive. In particular we have a growing number of Baptist, URC and Methodist churches in the network.

We work in partnership. We value our strong working links with a number of different organisations. See our Partnerships page for details.
We work with churches. We have a national directory of hundreds of churches that have registered with us as ‘inclusive churches’. Get your church to join the network!
We work with individuals. Inclusive Church is very much a ‘grass roots’ organisation. As a charity, the work and support of individuals is vital to our work. Individuals can join Inclusive Church, serve as trustees on the board or be a local contact for churches interested in becoming more inclusive. Our network of regional ambassadors is made up of individuals with a specific commitment to grow and support the work of Inclusive Church.

Prayers of Love and Faith are a set of Church of England resources for same-sex couples who wish to give thanks for and mark their commitment before God. These prayers are not a form of wedding service, but rather a way to acknowledge and celebrate love and faithfulness within a relationship. They can be used in private prayer or as part of a regular church service, at the discretion of the minister according to the Church of England.
