Getting here
You are assured of a warm welcome at Christ Church. Here you will find active members of the Church and community who take pride in their Church and activities. Services are modern and full of expression and once a month a special Family Service is held specifically designed for the younger members of our parish. The magnificent Church building dates from 1877 and is described as "French style gothic". Internally there is a high vaulted ceiling, with interesting frescos around the high altar, stained glass windows and a marvellous organ built in 1891 by A. Hunter and Son. There are excellent youth services associated with the Church and we have a flourishing Guides, Brownies and BB membership. The Church Choir has won many awards and enjoys leading our congregation in worship.
