St John's Welling

Welcome! St John's Welling is a thriving community of ordinary people of all ages and backgrounds who are working out what it means to follow Jesus and experiencing the difference he makes in our lives. We want everyone to meet God directly for themselves in our times together, so we make space in our worship for the Holy Spirit to move among us, while also taking seriously that God speaks truth to us through the bible. We know that God has revealed Himself to us in Jesus, pours out His love, and has given us the Holy Spirit and each other.

We have different styles of service at different times on a Sunday. Holy Communion will be available every week in one of them. Our morning service uses a mixture of the traditional and the contemporary. We also have many things going on for children, young people and adults to help all to grow in faith or to find God for the first time.

If you are new to St John's Welling, or are thinking of connecting to see what we're about, please come along to either of our Sunday services or join us online. You'll get a warm welcome from our team who will help you with anything you'd like to know. Browsing our website will enable you to see what goes on, if there's something for you and whether you'd like to become part of the story! Please also browse our FAQs.

St John's Welling broadcasts our services online and also has online fellowship and prayer meetings. We are part of the New Wine network of churches. We have a hearing loop, access for disabled people and morning services are 'hands free'. We are able to offer car parking on site for our church members and visitors. Welcome.
