Scarecrows are exhibited in your front garden over the May Bank Holiday weekend and All Souls’ will produce a scarecrow map so that residents and visitors can view your handiwork and then vote for their favourite.Don’t worry if you don’t have a front garden, your neighbour might let you share theirs, or you can display your scarecrow in the church grounds where we can look after it for you. The weather was perfect on Saturday 30th September for the annual Plough Match, held this year in the parish at the Clements’ farm.On Sunday 1st October we celebrated our Harvest Thanksgiving. All ages joined in enthusiastically, and the church was overflowing with grains, pumpkins, sunflowers, music and laughter.We thank God for the harvest and for our beautiful village.
