Thanks to a final grant from the National Churches Trust, repairs are going ahead on the Western Tower at St Mary's. These repairs have been required for many years as the stones and pointing has were in poor condition due to the effects of weathering. 

We are very grateful for this grant that will ensure that the tower is safe and weatherproof for the future. The Benefact Trust, the Friends of Kent Churches and the Rochester Bridge Trust have all contributed generously to the fund. Works were completed in mid November 2024
