Getting here
St Matthew's Church in Borstal is a friendly church in the heart of the village. We offer worship every Sunday morning at 10:30 with children's activities running alongside - children are welcomed and are free to pop in and out of the service as they wish.
We have a choir and sing a blend of modern and traditional hymns, sometimes accompanied by organ, sometimes by keyboard and double bass! Our worship is best described as 'relaxed Common Worship'. We have a contemplative and liberal approach to theology, knowing that we don't have all the answers but seeking God's truth together. We have a heart for social justice and support both local and national charities. We are signed up to the Inclusive Church network.
We have fully accessible disabled toilets and our communion rail is level access.
