Our charming live tableau Nativity scene, featuring a stable with a live Mary, Joseph, baby, King, and the Angel Gabriel. This will set the perfect backdrop for joyful carol singing. Together, we’ll fill the evening with Christmas cheer as we count down to switching on the village Christmas lights outside the library at 6pm on Saturday, 6th December. Wrap up warm, bring your voices, and be part of a magical community moment!

Parish Communion

Every year, The Salvation Army helps share the joy of Christmas with thousands of families across the country. This season, our local church is running its annual Christmas Present Appeal, collecting new, unwrapped toys and gifts to support children who might otherwise wake up without a present on Christmas morning. Your generosity will help us bring hope, comfort and a smile to those facing hardship. Together, we can make this Christmas a little brighter for everyone. If possible, please bring in your unwrapped present to the service.

Join us for our weekly bell ringing practice session at St. Michael’s Church, Cuxton, Wednesday evening from 7:30–9:00 pm.
(except the last Wednesday of each month, when practice takes place at St. John’s Church, Halling).
Whether you’re a complete beginner or an experienced ringer, you’re warmly invited to come along and join our friendly team.
Bell ringing is a fun and social activity that’s great for both physical and mental wellbeing. We’d love to show you the ropes!

Children’s Art & Craft Session
All families are warmly invited to join us at the Holy Communion Service in St. Michael's Church.
We begin together in the church at 9:30am for a short welcome and prayers at the start of the service. Then, during the first hymn, children are invited to head to the hall for exciting arts and crafts based on a Bible story theme.
Come along for a joyful time of creativity, learning, and fellowship — we can’t wait to see you there!

The Mothers’ Union branch meets monthly on Wednesday mornings in Cuxton Church Hall to support community projects and strengthen family life locally and beyond.
Our meetings feature guest speakers, visits, and hands-on activities like crafts and calligraphy that foster friendship and faith. We maintain strong international ties, especially with members in Trinidad and Tobago.
We also partner with PACT (Prison Advice and Care Trust) to support prisoners’ families.
With refreshments, fellowship, and a warm welcome for all, our gatherings are both inspiring and enjoyable.

We warmly invite everyone to Join us with our church choir for a beautiful selection of carols. The service will be held amid a stunning display of Christmas decorations, lights, candles, and a magnificent nativity scene under the altar.
Afterwards, refreshments will be available in the hall.

Join Us for a Family-Friendly Christingle Celebration!
Experience a joyful and festive atmosphere as the Christingles light up the church with a message of hope and light. All are welcome to come and enjoy this special celebration at 5 pm on Christmas Eve. It’s a wonderful way to begin a joyful and peaceful Christmas with family and friends and reflect on the true meaning of Christmas. The church will be beautifully decorated with a lovely nativity scene under the altar for all to see as the Nativity Story is told.
