Cuxton Church Choir is a friendly, creative group and always happy to welcome new members!
We’re a supportive community that loves making music together for Sunday services and special events. Just bring your enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.

Everyone Welcome!
Join us for our weekly bell ringing practice session at St. Michael’s Church, Cuxton, Wednesday evening from 7:30–9:00 pm.
(except the last Wednesday of each month, when practice takes place at St. John’s Church, Halling).
Whether you’re a complete beginner or an experienced ringer, you’re warmly invited to come along and join our friendly team.
Bell ringing is a fun and social activity that’s great for both physical and mental wellbeing. We’d love to show you the ropes!
So why not give bell ringing a go?

Children’s Art & Craft Session
All families are warmly invited to join us at the Holy Communion Service in St. Michael's Church.
We begin together in the church at 9:30am for a short welcome and prayers at the start of the service. Then, during the second hymn, children are invited to head to the hall for exciting arts and crafts based on a Bible story theme.
Come along for a joyful time of creativity, learning, and fellowship — we can’t wait to see you there!

You’re warmly invited to a Bring and Share Lunch in support of Christian Aid. Join us at Cuxton Church Hall for delicious food, friendly faces and a warm atmosphere. There will be plenty to go around. Bring a dish if you can, and help support a great cause. Everyone is welcome.

The Mothers’ Union branch meets every 3rd Wednesday of each month in Cuxton Church Hall to support community projects and strengthen family life locally and beyond.
Our meetings feature guest speakers, visits, and hands-on activities like crafts and calligraphy that foster friendship and faith. We maintain strong international ties, especially with members in Trinidad and Tobago.
We also partner with PACT (Prison Advice and Care Trust) to support prisoners’ families.
With refreshments, fellowship, and a warm welcome for all, our gatherings are both inspiring and enjoyable.

Come along and join us for a joyful evening of barn dancing with the well-loved Tideway Folk Group! Whether you’re a complete beginner or a seasoned dancer, you’ll be warmly welcomed and guided through every step as lively reels and jigs fill the room. It’s a wonderful chance to meet friends old and new, share laughter, and enjoy the uplifting energy of live folk music. With a friendly atmosphere, plenty of smiles, and no partner needed, it’s all about having fun and being part of the community, so put on your dancing shoes and come and dance the night away!

The Peninsula Big band is a 15 piece traditional big band formed in 2007 with a blend of professional and experienced regular players who all love the big band style. They play an extensive range of music from the great band leaders such as Glen Miller, Tommy Dorsey, and Count Basie to arrangements of more modern music such as the Beatles, Sade, Michael Jackson and The Average white band. So should you wish to experience a feel good factor of big band music in the beautiful historic church of St. John's Halling then the Peninsula Big Band is just what you are looking for.

A Sunday daytime event in the recreation ground, from 12 - 6pm, with stalls, games, food and live music.
Fresh Expressions will host a Tombola stall with a selection of exciting items to win.
A fresh expression at a church is a simple, welcoming way of doing church in everyday settings, like community events, cafés, or activity groups, designed especially for people who wouldn’t usually attend a traditional service. It focuses on building relationships, sharing faith naturally, and creating a sense of belonging in a relaxed, accessible environment.
