On All Souls’ Day, we give thanks for the lives of those we have loved and lost, remembering them with gratitude and holding them in our prayers.
Our All Souls’ Day Eucharist offers a quiet and reflective opportunity to remember those who have died and to find comfort and hope in God’s enduring love.
During the service, the names of loved ones who have died will be read aloud, as we commend them to God’s eternal care and pray for all who mourn.
If you would like a loved one’s name to be included in the prayers, please send their name to a churchwarden so they can be added to the remembrance list in church. All are welcome to join us for this special service, whether your loss is recent or from many years ago.
All are warmly welcome.

Chess Club is located in the beautiful Halling Church! Open to children and young people aged 6–16, our friendly Chess Club meets every Thursday during term time. Admission is completely free, thanks to the generous support of the Parish Council and Halling Church. Whether you're a complete beginner or an experienced player, everyone is welcome!

Join Halling Community as we come together to remember and pay our respects to the fallen, honour our veterans, and reflect on the sacrifices made for our freedom.

🕊️ At 11:00am, we will observe the two-minute silence.

Everyone is welcome – all ages encouraged to attend with our Brownies, Cubs, Scouts, Guides and Rangers, followed by the laying of poppy wreaths at the Memorial Plaque inside the church.

🌺 12:00pm: After the church service, we will parade down to the War Memorial opposite Halling Station to pay our respects together.

❤️ Poppies will be available in church in support of our veterans.

Prison Project- Come and help us fill 900 Christmas Gift Bags for prisoners as part of the PACT (Prison Advice and Care Trust) project which our Mothers’ Union branch support. We meet every 3rd Wednesday of each month in Cuxton Church Hall to support community projects and strengthen family life locally and beyond.
Our meetings feature guest speakers, visits, and hands-on activities that foster friendship and faith. We maintain strong international ties, especially with members in Trinidad and Tobago.
Our partnership with PACT (Prison Advice and Care Trust) supports prisoners and their families. Research shows that prisoners who maintain regular contact with their families and loved ones are 39% less likely to reoffend after release.
With refreshments, fellowship, and a warm welcome for all, our gatherings are both inspiring and enjoyable.

Join us for our bell ringing practice session at 7:00–9:00 pm on the last Wednesday of every month at Halling. The other Wednesday practices are at Cuxton Church. Everyone is warmly invited! Whether you’re a complete beginner or an experienced ringer, come along and meet our friendly team. Bellringing is a fun, social activity that’s great for both physical and mental wellbeing. It’s a hobby for all ages, and we’d love to introduce you to the ropes! Why not give bellringing a go? Come along, learn a new skill, and enjoy a welcoming community at Halling and Cuxton Church. Every year, thanks to the generosity of our supporters, The Salvation Army shares over 68,000 Christmas gifts across the UK and Ireland, bringing smiles to children and families facing difficult times.

You can make a difference by donating new, unwrapped toys and gifts for children who might otherwise go without a present this Christmas. Gifts will be lovingly wrapped and distributed to families in need.
