You are warmly invited to join us for our Remembrance Sunday Service on Sunday 9th November, beginning at 10.45am at St. John's Church in Halling.
Following the service, there will be a Parade through Halling High Street to the War Memorial, where wreaths will be laid in honour of those who gave their lives in service to our country.
All are welcome to join us for this important and moving community occasion.
While visiting, please take a moment to enjoy the Halling Sapphires WI Remembrance Net of Poppies displayed outside the church โ€” a beautiful and meaningful community project featuring handmade poppies, lovingly knitted, crocheted, or crafted from felt. This stunning tribute reflects the gratitude and remembrance of our whole village.

Safeguarding

Our parish of Cuxton and Halling is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Rochesterโ€™s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Social Care Services.
