Every year, The Salvation Army helps share the joy of Christmas with thousands of families across the country. This season, our local church is running its annual Christmas Present Appeal, collecting new, unwrapped toys and gifts to support children who might otherwise wake up without a present on Christmas morning. Your generosity will help us bring hope, comfort and a smile to those facing hardship. Together, we can make this Christmas a little brighter for everyone. Suggested Gift List for Children and Young People.

Safeguarding

Our parish of Cuxton and Halling is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Rochester’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Social Care Services.
