Church of England Diocese of Rochester Aylesford

Aylesford: St Peter & St Paul

Welcome to St. Peter and St. Paul's Church, in the Parish of Aylesford and Eccles in Kent. We are a mix of people from different backgrounds but united in wanting to grow in the Christian faith. We question our faith, learn from each other, enjoy being together and love welcoming new people. We are a church at the heart of the community, so we plan events that involve the wider community, people of all faiths and none, and enable us to share the church building and facilities. We believe that the warmth, generosity, hospitality and loving service we strive to express are the are the ways in which we show the love of God for all people and we invite you to come and share in the life of our church.

Coronavirus. The church building is open for private prayer and reflection every day; Mondays - Saturday 10am -3pm and Sundays 12noon - 3pm. We've done a thorough risk assessment and incorporated all the safety measures we can. Inside, the church looks beautiful.  It is such a joy to walk into a clean, bright and warm building. Thanks are due to Aline for organising the team of cleaners and to everyone who has or will be helping out with that. Do come and spend some time reconnecting with your lovely spiritual home.

Normally we have regular Sundays services at 8am and 10am and a Wednesday morning 10am communion service but the present restrictions means we are operating to a different schedule.  We aim to have a 10am service every Sunday and on the 2nd and 5th Sundays of the month we intend to hold an 8am service of Holy Communion. See the calendar page for more information; changes may have to be made if government regulations change.
