On Sunday 12th October, the Leybourne community, including our Scouts and Cubs, families and people of all ages, came together to celebrate Harvest. A packed church sang traditional and modern hymns, prayed and offered gifts of food for the community foodbank. We explored the parable of the sower from Luke's gospel with the help of a variety of seeds! Our Melody Makers children's choir sang beautifully, especially the moving 'Seeds of Friendship' and the church looked magnficent thanks to the efforts of our flower group. It was an uplifting and joyous occasion.
