The school marks Remembrance Day

Our primary school held their annual remembrance service in church and at the war memorial on Tuesday 11th November. All the children and staff gathered for a service led by Rev Carol Bridge. The children gave readings, sang songs and led prayers before listening to a talk. The main theme of the service was gratitude to those who died in the service of this country and the hope for peace in the future. At the war memorial the 2 minute silence at 11 o clock was observed, a wreath was laid  and each class laid a cross. A moving occasion.
