On Sunday 7th May, over 200 people gathered on the school/cricket field for an informal Community Event, Jointly organised by the Parish Council and Leybourne church. The event was free to attend, with free attractions including a bouncy castle, face painting and games. The cricket club kindly opened their bar to us and music was provided by our children's choir Melody Makers and Joe Shepherd's ukulele band. The weather was kind to us and we all had a good time. Roll on next year's event! Thanks to all the volunteers who helped organise the event  and everyone who came.
