A group of people from Leybourne and other Team parishes set out from Leybourne church early on a sunny Saturday morning, led by our intrepid rector Helen, on a day long tour of local churches on foot. As well as enjoying lots of exercise, sightseeing  (and quite a bit of cake and sandwiches provided by the various churches) they raised £300 in sponsorship for Friends of Kent Churches. This money will be split between our church and the FOKC, which provides grants to Kent churches to help with restoration projects. They have helped with our roof repairs and window restoration fund. Thank you to everyone who took part and everyone who sponsored this worthy cause.
