This is an ancient church which has seen many changes over the years. More recently, a Benefice office space has been created as well as kitchen and toilet facilities. Refreshments are served after every service.

Village Prayers and Compline (Night Prayer)

During the Wednesdays of Lent (and Holy Week), we are gathering to pray for our Ironstone villages, churches and people. Each week at 7.30 pm, we will meet in one of the parish churches:
Wednesday 25 February- St Egelwin, Scalford (with Chadwell and Wycomb)
Wednesday 4 March- St Mary Magdalene, Waltham on the Wolds
Wednesday 11 March- St Denys, Eaton
Wednesday 18 March- St Michael and All Angels, Eastwell
Wednesday 25 March- St Denys, Goadby Marwood
Wednesday 1 April- St Peters, Stonesby

Each week the guided time of prayer will conclude with a service of Compline (Night Prayer), finishing by 8.15pm.
