Butterton, Ipstones with Berkhamsytch and Onecote with Bradnop is group (Benefice) of churches covering 5 villages, 4 churches and 3 parishes, and a scattered population of approximately 1,700 folk on the edge of the Staffordshire Moorlands, in the Peak District. The Benefice is committed to “Serving God, Serving Community” and is a united welcoming Christian community loving God, following Jesus.

Safeguarding

Our Benefice is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and each church in the Benefice has their own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO).

The name of each church's safeguarding coordinator is posted on the church notice board, and is included in the details for each church in the Benefice.

We have adopted the National Church of England and Diocese of Lichfield Safeguarding Policies and take safeguarding very seriously. (See link to Diocesan web site below).
