Mothers’ Union – Celebrating 150 Years

Founded in 1876 by Mary Sumner, the Mothers’ Union exists to promote stable family relationships, nurture faith, and offer practical care to people of all ages and backgrounds. Today it has more than four million members in 84 countries, all working to bring hope, dignity and belonging to their communities.

Here in Kingsthorpe we are blessed with a thriving and welcoming Mothers’ Union branch. Members meet on the first Tuesday of every month, usually in St David’s Church Hall, for fellowship, prayer, and a varied programme of speakers and activities. New members are always warmly welcomed.
