The Parish of Wyke Regis, All Saints with St Edmund

Rooted in faith, growing in community, all are welcome here.

We are a vibrant Church of England parish in the Diocese of Salisbury, serving the South Dorset village of Wyke Regis and the neighbouring area of Lanehouse, Weymouth.

Nestled between the town of Weymouth and the Island of Portland, our parish is home to two churches: the historic All Saints Church, consecrated in 1455, and the welcoming St Edmund’s Church, built in the 1950s.

Whether you’re exploring faith for the first time, returning after a while, or simply looking for connection, you’ll find a place here. Our worship, outreach, and community life are shaped by tradition, creativity, and a deep commitment to inclusion. We celebrate the richness of our heritage while embracing the needs and hopes of today.

Come as you are. There’s space for you

Safeguarding

Our Parish is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops' guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information, including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm, please contact the PSO Maxine Foster on 07855 969946 or by emailing [email protected]

Alternatively, you can contact the Diocesan Safeguarding Team by emailing [email protected] or by calling 01722 438651 and pressing option 2. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
