As many of you will know, in the leadup to Christmas a problem with the heating system was discovered at All Saints. A sudden leak in the cast iron pipes yesterday means that the central heating needed to be shut off: in lieu this, we have had to install emergency units to bring warmth at our many Christmas services!
As the units cannot be left unattended, we are very sorry that the church building will be kept closed when empty during the daytime until the problem can be fixed in the New Year.
All scheduled services and activities will still go ahead with emergency heating in place, and we'll be sure to keep you updated as work begins to fix the pipes. The temporary heaters are extremely effective, but they need to be turned off during the services as they are noisy. You may like to consider putting on an extra layer of warm clothing, just in case!
Thank you for your understanding, and we all wish you peace and warmth this Christmas 🌟🎄🕯️
