Parish of South Beddington and Roundshaw

South Beddington and Roundshaw benefits from two churches within one parish. Mother Berni Excell looks after both the modern St Paul's church in Mollison Drive (next door to the Phoenix Centre) and the rather more traditional St Michael and All Angels on Milton Road. Both have lively and friendly congregations that support one another.  You are invited to join for Mass on Sundays (8.30 at St Pauls, 10.30 at St Michael's) and midweek on Wednesdays at St Pauls at 10.30

Our doors are open at both churches across the week (although not currently all day or every day) and you are welcome, whether you wish to sit quietly or join with others for prayer, worship and/or activities and chat.  At St Paul's we are delighted to have many partners offering their services in our midst, from AA to Mencap, the Women's Centre to a range of health partners and Wallington Community Wellbeing Charity.  Do check our main church page for more detail.

For one-off special events and services, please go to the "Services and events" and "News and notices" sections (left). Select the "News stories" tab for current news and events or the "Notice sheets" tab for the weekly newsletter. Sign up to the e-mailing list (by contacting [email protected]) to receive every newsletter issue in your inbox as soon as it's published.

We are delighted to be working in partnership with Sutton Mental Health Foundation to offer these drop in sessions on alternate Wednesdays at St Paul's. There will be listening ears available throughout for anyone who'd like some 1:1 time to chat but otherwise enjoy making new friends and connecting with old. All are welcome. 15/29 April, 13/27 May, 10/24 June

Safeguarding

Our Parish is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO (Sally Page for St Paul's, Jenina Namweru for St Michael's) or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (Pamela Chisholm, 020 7939 9423 or out of hours, 020 3874 6743). If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
