Are you or your loved one living with memory loss, dementia or as a carer? We would love you to join us on Thursdays in the heart of Roundshaw. A friendly, relaxed cafe style set up, where each week we follow a similar structure (for familiarity) of welcome, refreshements, crafts/games, an organised activity (from Tai Chi, drumming, health chats, films, etc) and always ending with singing and dancing! We have a fabulous team of volunteers alongside and together we grow in friendship and support, sharing laughter and tears. We have strong links with many health and social care professionals who come visit, and many of us are great listeners if you need to talk. Do come visit - you will be so welcome. No charge, no pressure.

Come along as a one off or on a regular basis to the Community Drop In at St Paul's. The cafe area is open with free refreshments throughout. Plenty of games, puzzles, activities for all ages. A warm and welcoming space whether you want time alone or time with others. All are welcome, including well behaved dogs on leads.

Local men of all faiths and none hosting local men in a warm space. Space for chatting, sharing a cuppa and for those who want to walk a short led walk leaving at 6.45! Come along and get involved - no expectations other than being a man - if you like to walk great - if you prefer to sit and chat - great.

Every Monday during term times St Paul's Church holds a lunch club aimed at the senior members of our community. Come along for a Homemade 2 course meal with some very friendly members of the congregation and local community for less that £5. for more information and accurate dates and times, please contact Madeleine 0208 669 1770.

All are welcome to come along for the open access session. If you know you want to do Qi Gong please sign up asap direct with SMHF and join the session 10.45-12 - otherwise come join for 12 when MahJong will be played (all levels welcome including complete beginners). Refreshments from 11.30. Free and open to all.

A fantastic opportunity for your child to join a new choir introducing them to choral music. See attached poster for QR code to sign up. A friendly, fun and engaging choir part of a pioneering "Lifting Young Voices" Programme (extending into our local schools through weekly music lessons). Our new choir will rehearse once a week from 4-4.45 - with the church open for refreshments and activities from 3.20. Parents and carers must remain present and responsible for your child 3.30-4 but then are welcome to leave (or stay), returning by 4.45 to collect them. Our choir master (Michael) and all the volunteers supporting the choir are enhanced dbs checked. The Junior Choir will work towards singing at occasional Sunday services, concerts and/or public performances - all future ambitions yet to be firmed up. We would love to welcome you and your child/ren into our budding Juion Choir Community. All are invited to come mark the start of the new school year with a service of Holy Communion, readings, prayers and blessings of bags/water bottles/pencil cases. We would love to welcome you and your child/ren to Messy Church. A new church in the heart of our community for those of all faiths and none open to journeying with one another and God. We will meet on the second Saturday of each month from September - 4-6pm. A time of storytelling, crafting, messy play, singing and food. A space for opening our hearts and minds alongside friends and neighbours where no question too silly, no expectation to be quiet or still. Messy Church - a time to grow in Love.
