We have two opportunities for you to join us in remembering loved ones, on Sunday 26th October at St John's, Hook at 6pm, and on Sunday 2nd November at 3pm. A Remembrance Sunday Holy communion

We will be having a 9am Service at the Hook War Memorial

On Remembrance Sunday we hold a service of Holy Communion a little earlier that usual, at 9:45. This is so the service ends in time to join the procession to the War memorial for the 10:50 Act of Remembrance. There is also an option to remain in St John's for an Act of Remembrance in church, which may be better suited for those who are unable to join the procession through Hook and to stand for the outdoor service.

Following the 9:45 Service at St John's the church will process to the War Memorial. The uniformed organisations - Scouts, Cubs, Brownies & Guides etc will also process to the War Memorial. We will meet for a short act of Remembrance, and to lay wreaths. It's a big family friendly event, come & join us.

We hold an Act of Remembrance at the Memorial Shelter in Mattingley - a few minutes walk from the Church.

Baby Jesus Rocks with Christingle - for all the family

A popular event in Hook, outside the front of St John's we sing carols, have mulled wine, eat burgers and hotdogs. We will be joined by the Rainbows and Brownies who meet at St John's - I hear they are practising! There will also be craft & activities inside for small children. A fun event for the whole family.

The Midnight Holy Communion Service starts at 11:30pm at St John's - a lovely service, and always so nice to have a full church!
