This is a quick Round Robin reminder in anticipation of our services for Pentecost Sunday (8th June 2025) – the day we remember the coming of the Holy Spirit and the birth of the Church.

Whether you're planning to join us, thinking about it, attending another church, or simply praying from home, you are very much part of our shared journey this Pentecost.

Here's what's happening in our church communities:

9.00 am – Morning Prayer at St James’, Lealholm
A quiet and reflective start to the day, with readings, prayers and space to reflect. No hymns, just a simple service, but including a sermon with time to listen for what the Holy Spirit might be saying. Refreshments served afterwards.

10.45 am – Celtic Communion at St Thomas’, Glaisdale
A creative and prayerful Communion service in the Celtic tradition, with traditional hymns, reflective words grounded in the beauty of the world around us, and a Pentecost-themed sermon encouraging belonging and prayer. Refreshments served afterwards.

If you're following Thy Kingdom Come, please do continue to pray for five people to come closer to God. Even if you're not able to join a service in person, your prayers are part of our shared life in the Spirit.

With every blessing this Pentecost,

Reverend Anthony
